How does emergency relief work?

World Aid Network funds emergency food parcels — flour, pulses, oil and essentials — for families displaced or destitute after floods, earthquakes and hunger crises in Pakistan, Indonesia and Malaysia. All aid is procured and distributed locally by pre-vetted partner organisations. This is emergency nutrition within our Objects, not long-term food programmes.

Food aid charities address one of the most immediate human needs after any crisis. World Aid Network's Hunger Crisis and emergency appeals fund non-perishable nutrition parcels designed for displaced families without cooking facilities or income.

All food aid is procured and distributed by pre-vetted local partner organisations who understand community needs, dietary requirements and last-mile access challenges in remote flood zones.

## Frequently asked questions

What food aid does World Aid Network provide?

High-nutrition emergency food parcels — flour, pulses, cooking oil, tinned goods and essentials — distributed to families displaced or made destitute by floods, earthquakes or seasonal hunger crises in Pakistan, Indonesia and Malaysia.

How is food aid different from long-term hunger programmes?

We fund emergency rations in the days and weeks after a declared disaster or acute hunger crisis — not agricultural development or livelihoods programmes, which fall outside our charitable Objects.

Can I give monthly to keep food stocks ready?

Yes. Monthly gifts to our standing emergency fund ensure food parcels are pre-positioned before the next monsoon or earthquake season. See our Monthly Giving page for details.
