Who we are

About Us

World Aid Network is a UK humanitarian charity funding sight-restoring eye surgery, cancer treatment and emergency disaster relief for poor and disaster-affected families.

Quick answer

World Aid Network is a UK Charitable Incorporated Organisation (charity registration in progress) funding sight-restoring eye surgery, cancer treatment and emergency disaster relief for poor and disaster-affected families. It works strictly within its 2 charitable Objects, with all clinical care delivered by locally-licensed doctors at trusted partner hospitals and community organisations.

Our Mission

What does a focused charity doing a few things well look like?

World Aid Network was set up to do two things very well. We fund sight-restoring eye surgery and cancer treatment for poor patients who cannot afford private care, and we fund emergency food, clean water and shelter for families who have been displaced by floods, earthquakes and other natural disasters.

We work through trusted local partner hospitals and community organisations in each country. All clinical care is delivered by locally-licensed and registered doctors and surgeons. We do not run our own clinics or operate our own emergency teams overseas.

What we do

Where Your Donation Goes

Sight-Restoring Eye Surgery

Funding cataract operations and other sight-restoring eye surgery for poor patients, delivered by locally-licensed ophthalmic surgeons.

Cancer Treatment

Funding life-saving cancer treatment — including breast cancer, childhood cancers and other forms — for patients who cannot afford private care.

Emergency Disaster Relief

Emergency food, clean drinking water and shelter for families displaced by floods, earthquakes and other natural disasters.

Seasonal Relief

Winter warmth, blankets and hot food for families displaced by disaster when shelter alone is not enough to keep families safe.

What drives us

What are our values?

Compassion With Focus

We commit fully to a clear, registered remit — sight-restoring eye surgery, cancer treatment and disaster relief — so every pound goes further.

Full Accountability

We are transparent about every penny received and spent. Donors deserve to know their money is making a difference.

Local-First Approach

All clinical care and emergency relief is delivered by locally-licensed clinicians and trusted local partner organisations on the ground.

Within Our Objects

We work strictly within our two charitable Objects. If a request falls outside them, we say so honestly and signpost to others.

How we work

What is our operating model?

01

You Donate

Every donation is directed to patient treatment costs or emergency relief. We do not fund research or overseas operational teams.

02

Local Partners Deliver

We work with PMDC, KKI and MMC-registered hospitals and trusted community organisations. All clinicians are locally licensed.

03

Lives Change

Patients receive surgery or treatment they could not otherwise afford. Disaster-affected families receive food, water and shelter.
