Direct Answer
To donate toys, contact a local charity shop or organisation that has asked for those items. Check condition and safety requirements, opening times and any collection arrangements. World Aid Network does not accept physical goods. If you want to support our overseas programmes, choose a financial gift through the relevant appeal.
Check what the recipient actually needs
Ask the organisation whether it currently accepts toys, which items are useful and how to prepare them. Demand and storage space change. Do not assume a charity, school or hospital can take an unsolicited delivery.
Prepare and arrange the handover
Give clean, usable items that meet the recipient’s requirements. Keep any parts or instructions together where applicable. Arrange a staffed drop-off or confirmed collection. For items that cannot be reused, follow your council’s recycling guidance.
Give to eye surgery, cancer treatment or disaster relief
Eye surgery and cancer treatment for patients who cannot pay, and relief after disasters, in Pakistan, Indonesia and Malaysia. Give once or monthly by card.
DonateLocal donations and overseas relief serve different needs
Useful donated goods can support local reuse or an agreed collection. Shipping overseas adds transport, sorting and distribution work. Send goods internationally only when an organisation requests and coordinates them. A financial donation can fund locally assessed needs, but still has delivery and administration costs.
How to support World Aid Network
WAN raises funds for eye care, cancer treatment and emergency relief in Pakistan, Indonesia and Malaysia. We do not offer a collection service or accept parcels. Gifts contribute to programmes; a suggested amount does not guarantee a kit or operation.
