Donate in US dollars

Give in US dollarsHow do you give now and pay in USD?
Your card is charged in US dollars. You can switch currency on the form if needed.
Can I give from the US, Canada or elsewhere?
US, Canadian and other international donors can give in US dollars here: a suggested $300 gift contributes towards one cataract operation at a partner hospital in Pakistan, Indonesia or Malaysia (actual quotes and outcomes vary). World Aid Network is a UK charitable organisation, not a US 501(c)(3) and not a registered Canadian charity, so gifts are generally not tax-deductible in those countries.
Can donors in the US or Canada give in dollars?
Can I donate from the US or Canada?
Yes — we accept USD through secure Stripe checkout: card, Apple Pay or Google Pay where your device supports it. Your card is charged in US dollars. World Aid Network is a UK charitable organisation applying for CIO registration with the Charity Commission for England and Wales. Canadian donors can also give in pounds at /donate.
Is my donation tax-deductible in the US or Canada?
Generally no. World Aid Network is a UK charitable organisation applying for CIO registration, not a US 501(c)(3) and not a registered Canadian charity, so donors normally cannot claim a US federal income-tax deduction or a CRA charitable tax credit. If tax relief matters to you, consult a local tax adviser before giving. Some US donors use a Donor Advised Fund whose sponsor is a US 501(c)(3). We will publish any future fiscal-sponsorship arrangement on this page.
How quickly does my donation reach those in need?
Stripe processes your payment straight away. Trustees then pay partner hospitals and trusted local relief partners against assessed needs — never cash to individuals. Timing depends on need, access and available funds. See how we work at /how-we-work.
How do I know the money reaches the patient?
Treatment is delivered by clinicians registered with PMDC (Pakistan), KKI (Indonesia) or MMC (Malaysia) at partner hospitals, and funds are paid to the hospital, not to individuals. We will publish annual accounts; once registered, they will also be filed with the Charity Commission. We do not run overseas teams.
