How do I donate BNB to charity?
Open this BNB page on worldaidnetwork.org. Copy the published 0x address. In Trust Wallet, MetaMask or your exchange, select BNB Smart Chain — not Ethereum mainnet. Send native BNB only. We convert the gift to sterling on receipt. Email [email protected] if you need a receipt and can identify the transaction.
Do not copy a BNB address from a search ad or a chat that claims to be us. Only this page is the source for this wallet.
You will pay gas in BNB on BNB Smart Chain. Exchanges may charge a withdrawal fee. Large or unusual gifts may need know-your-donor checks.
BNB (BNB) Wallet Address
0x0D5A1856Aa3E8ee2cCb2B33cE1cdf08Ce4E70bE4What is the World Aid Network BNB wallet address?
The verified BNB address is the 0x address in the box on this page. Copy it with the button. It is for BNB Smart Chain native BNB. The Ethereum page publishes the same 0x string for Ethereum mainnet. Sending on the wrong chain can lose the funds. If the address on your screen does not match this page, stop.
Check the first and last four characters after you paste. We will not email you a new BNB address. If someone does, it is not us.
A Bitcoin bc1 address is never this wallet. A Solana address is never this wallet.
How do I send BNB from a wallet or exchange?
Start a BNB withdrawal. Paste this 0x address. Choose BNB Smart Chain, sometimes labelled BEP-20 as the network for native BNB — not Ethereum, not opBNB, not a Beacon Chain send to a memo address. Send native BNB, not a token. Confirm when the characters match. We convert after we can spend the BNB.
In MetaMask add BNB Smart Chain and switch to it before you send. If the network still says Ethereum, you are about to send on the wrong chain.
Binance withdrawals often list ‘BNB Smart Chain (BEP20)’. That can be native BNB on BSC. It is not a licence to send every BEP-20 token. Send BNB only.
Can I send BEP-20 tokens to this address?
No. This address accepts native BNB on BNB Smart Chain only. USDT on BSC is not the USDT we accept. Donate USDT is Ethereum mainnet ERC-20 only. Other BEP-20 tokens and ETH sent on Ethereum mainnet to this 0x string are usually lost. We cannot recover them. If you hold native Ethereum, use Donate Ethereum. Card checkout remains on the donate page.
BEP-20 tokens need a contract the receiving wallet can handle. We convert native BNB. We do not operate a token-sweep for every standard.
If you have already sent a token or used the wrong chain, write to [email protected] with the transaction id. Do not send a second transaction to try again.
What happens to my BNB after I donate?
As Charity Commission guidance advises, we promptly convert BNB received into sterling. That protects the gift from later price moves. We do not hold BNB as an investment. Sterling is allocated to the Emergency Disaster Fund for food, water, hygiene kits and shelter. We do not send cash to individuals.
Chain confirmation, a transfer to the conversion rail and a sterling receipt all take time. The value that funds kits is the sterling amount after conversion, not a later market high.
Trustees pay vetted local relief partners against approved lists. Disaster money does not rebuild houses or run medical clinics. We do not claim a 100% donation policy.
What will a BNB donation provide after conversion?
After conversion to sterling, your BNB gift funds the Emergency Disaster Fund. Typical partner costs include £10 for a week’s drinking water, £25 for a hygiene kit, £50 for two weeks of emergency food, and £100 for temporary shelter materials. Amounts are a sterling guide after conversion, not a BNB price promise.
We do not quote how much BNB buys a tarpaulin. Markets move. The table is what partners typically kit in sterling.
We do not invent caseloads. Trustees send converted sterling to the next verified list a partner can deliver.
| Gift | What partners typically kit |
|---|---|
| £10 | Clean drinking water for a displaced family for one week |
| £25 | An emergency hygiene kit for a displaced family |
| £50 | Emergency food rations for a family for two weeks |
| £100 | Temporary shelter materials for one displaced household |
| £250 | Safe drinking water for 50 people for one week |
| £500 | A full emergency relief package for 10 displaced families |
What does your amount fund?
£50 — Emergency food rations for a family for two weeks
The table is a sterling guide after conversion, not a BNB price. For a fuller calculator see the emergency relief calculator.
Is a BNB donation tax-efficient in the UK?
HMRC can treat a gift of BNB to a qualifying UK charity as no gain, no loss for Capital Gains Tax. World Aid Network’s registration is in progress (application 5290505), so do not assume that applies yet. Gift Aid is for gifts of money, not in-kind BNB. Seek independent tax advice. The crypto giving hub has the overview.
Your cost, your wallet and whether we are a qualifying charity on the day you give all matter.
Give because you want the Emergency Disaster Fund funded — not because a tax saving is guaranteed.
Can I claim Gift Aid on a BNB donation?
Not yet, and not as an in-kind BNB gift. Gift Aid is a relief on gifts of money from UK taxpayers. HMRC treats cryptoassets as property. Gift Aid also waits until Charity Commission registration is granted (application 5290505). If you want Gift Aid later, a sterling card gift on the donate page is the usual path.
Do not add 25% to a BNB amount in your own accounts. We will update the crypto giving hub when Gift Aid becomes claimable for qualifying sterling gifts.
We do not act as your tax adviser.
Can I donate BNB anonymously?
On-chain BNB is pseudonymous, not a way to skip UK charity law. We carry out know-your-donor checks in proportion to the gift. We may decline or return a donation if we cannot establish a legitimate source. We cannot issue Gift Aid receipts for anonymous BNB gifts. Email [email protected] if you want a named thank-you.
Small routine gifts will not usually need a call. Larger or unusual patterns may.
Do not send BNB as a way to move unexplained funds. We would rather return a gift than take a risk.
How is donating BNB different from donating by card?
BNB giving uses this published wallet on BNB Smart Chain. Card giving uses the donate page. BNB is converted to sterling, then allocated to the Emergency Disaster Fund. A card gift can be marked for eye surgery, cancer treatment, emergency relief or where most needed. Both are real gifts. Neither is a 100% donation policy.
Stay here if you already hold BNB on BNB Smart Chain. Use the donate page for Apple Pay, Google Pay or a monthly card gift.
The crypto giving hub maps every coin we accept.
Which other coins can I send instead of BNB?
If you hold Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT or Solana, leave this page. Each coin has its own verified wallet. Ethereum and USDT use 0x addresses on a different chain from this BNB page. Sending the wrong asset here can lose it permanently. Card checkout stays on the donate page.
Open the Ethereum page only when you intend to send native ETH on Ethereum mainnet. Open this page only for native BNB on BNB Smart Chain.
