## In short

Donate Ethereum to charity here by sending native ETH on Ethereum mainnet to the verified wallet on this page. Copy only this address. Do not send ERC-20 tokens, Bitcoin, Solana or BNB. We convert Ethereum to sterling on receipt. Sterling goes to the Emergency Disaster Fund for food, water and shelter. Gift Aid is not claimable yet.

Copy this Ethereum address and send native ETH on Ethereum mainnet only. We convert every gift to sterling on receipt.

This page is the Ethereum wallet. Copy only this address. Only send native ETH on Ethereum mainnet. No ERC-20 tokens and no other chains — including BNB Smart Chain. Other coins and the convert-to-sterling policy: https://worldaidnetwork.org/crypto-giving. Card checkout: https://worldaidnetwork.org/donate. Gift Aid is not claimable yet (Charity Commission application 5290505).

## How to donate Ethereum to World Aid Network

- Copy this Ethereum address: Use only the 0x address on this page — not a search-ad lookalike.
- Select Ethereum mainnet: Send native ETH. No ERC-20 tokens, L2s or BNB Smart Chain.
- We convert to sterling: We do not hold ETH as an investment. Sterling funds emergency food, water and shelter.

## What is the wallet address?

Ethereum (ETH) on Ethereum mainnet: 0x0D5A1856Aa3E8ee2cCb2B33cE1cdf08Ce4E70bE4

## How do I donate Ethereum to charity?

Open this Ethereum page on worldaidnetwork.org. Copy the published 0x address. In your wallet, select Ethereum mainnet — not Base, Arbitrum, Polygon or BNB Smart Chain. Send native ETH only. We convert the gift to sterling on receipt. Email info@worldaidnetwork.org if you need a receipt and can identify the transaction.

Do not copy an Ethereum address from a search ad or a chat that claims to be us. Only this page is the source for this wallet.

You will pay gas in ETH. Exchanges may charge a withdrawal fee. Large or unusual gifts may need know-your-donor checks.

## What is the World Aid Network Ethereum wallet address?

The verified Ethereum address is the 0x address in the box on this page. Copy it with the button. It is for Ethereum mainnet native ETH. The BNB page publishes the same 0x string for a different chain. Sending on the wrong chain can lose the funds. If the address on your screen does not match this page, stop.

Check the first and last four characters after you paste. We will not email you a new Ethereum address. If someone does, it is not us.

A Bitcoin bc1 address is never this wallet. A Solana address is never this wallet.

## How do I send Ethereum from a wallet or exchange?

Start an ETH withdrawal. Paste this 0x address. Choose Ethereum mainnet, sometimes labelled ERC-20 as the network for native ETH — not BNB Smart Chain, not an L2. Send native ETH, not a token. Confirm when the characters match. Wait for Ethereum confirmations. We convert after we can spend the ether.

MetaMask, Rainbow and most exchanges default to a network. Look at the network name before you confirm. Base, Arbitrum, Optimism and Polygon are not this gift.

If the exchange only offers ‘BNB Smart Chain’ for this 0x address, do not send. Use the BNB page for BNB, or pick a different withdrawal network for ETH.

## Can I send ERC-20 tokens to this address?

No. This address accepts native Ether (ETH) on Ethereum mainnet only. USDT (Tether) has its own wallet on Donate USDT — do not send USDT here. USDC, wrapped ETH, NFTs and any other ERC-20 token sent here cannot usually be recovered. Bitcoin, Solana and BNB sent to this 0x address on the wrong chain are usually lost too.

The Donate USDT page is Ethereum mainnet ERC-20 USDT only. It uses a different 0x address from this Ethereum page. Native ETH stays here.

If you have already sent a token to this ETH wallet, write to info@worldaidnetwork.org with the transaction id. Do not send a second transaction to try again.

## What happens to my Ethereum after I donate?

As Charity Commission guidance advises, we promptly convert Ethereum received into sterling. That protects the gift from later price moves. We do not hold ETH as an investment. Sterling is allocated to the Emergency Disaster Fund for food, water, hygiene kits and shelter. We do not send cash to individuals.

Mainnet confirmation, a transfer to the conversion rail and a sterling receipt all take time. The value that funds kits is the sterling amount after conversion, not a later market high.

Trustees pay vetted local relief partners against approved lists. Disaster money does not rebuild houses or run medical clinics. We do not claim a 100% donation policy.

## What will an Ethereum donation provide after conversion?

After conversion to sterling, your Ethereum gift funds the Emergency Disaster Fund. Typical partner costs include £10 for a week’s drinking water, £25 for a hygiene kit, £50 for two weeks of emergency food, and £100 for temporary shelter materials. Amounts are a sterling guide after conversion, not an ETH price promise.

We do not quote how much gwei buys a tarpaulin. Markets move. The table is what partners typically kit in sterling.

We do not invent caseloads. Trustees send converted sterling to the next verified list a partner can deliver.

## Is an Ethereum donation tax-efficient in the UK?

HMRC can treat a gift of Ethereum to a qualifying UK charity as no gain, no loss for Capital Gains Tax. World Aid Network’s registration is in progress (application 5290505), so do not assume that applies yet. Gift Aid is for gifts of money, not in-kind ETH. Seek independent tax advice. The crypto giving hub has the overview.

Your cost, your wallet and whether we are a qualifying charity on the day you give all matter.

Give because you want the Emergency Disaster Fund funded — not because a tax saving is guaranteed.

## Can I claim Gift Aid on an Ethereum donation?

Not yet, and not as an in-kind Ethereum gift. Gift Aid is a relief on gifts of money from UK taxpayers. HMRC treats cryptoassets as property. Gift Aid also waits until Charity Commission registration is granted (application 5290505). If you want Gift Aid later, a sterling card gift on the donate page is the usual path.

Do not add 25% to an ETH amount in your own accounts. We will update the crypto giving hub when Gift Aid becomes claimable for qualifying sterling gifts.

We do not act as your tax adviser.

## Can I donate Ethereum anonymously?

On-chain Ethereum is pseudonymous, not a way to skip UK charity law. We carry out know-your-donor checks in proportion to the gift. We may decline or return a donation if we cannot establish a legitimate source. We cannot issue Gift Aid receipts for anonymous Ethereum gifts. Email info@worldaidnetwork.org if you want a named thank-you.

Small routine gifts will not usually need a call. Larger or unusual patterns may.

Do not send ETH as a way to move unexplained funds. We would rather return a gift than take a risk.

## How is donating Ethereum different from donating by card?

Ethereum giving uses this published wallet on Ethereum mainnet. Card giving uses the donate page. ETH is converted to sterling, then allocated to the Emergency Disaster Fund. A card gift can be marked for eye surgery, cancer treatment, emergency relief or where most needed. Both are real gifts. Neither is a 100% donation policy.

Stay here if you already hold ETH on mainnet. Use the donate page for Apple Pay, Google Pay or a monthly card gift.

The crypto giving hub maps every coin we accept. Ways to donate covers payroll, shares and gifts in wills.

## Which other coins can I send instead of Ethereum?

If you hold Bitcoin, USDT, Solana or BNB, leave this page. Each coin has its own verified wallet. USDT on Ethereum mainnet is Donate USDT — a different 0x address. BNB uses a 0x string that can look like this one — it is still a different chain. Sending the wrong asset here can lose it permanently. Card checkout stays on the donate page.

Open Donate USDT only when you intend to send Tether (ERC-20) on Ethereum mainnet. Open this page only for native ETH. Open the BNB page only for native BNB on BNB Smart Chain.

## What will a converted gift typically fund?

- £10: Clean drinking water for a displaced family for one week
- £25: An emergency hygiene kit for a displaced family
- £50: Emergency food rations for a family for two weeks
- £100: Temporary shelter materials for one displaced household
- £250: Safe drinking water for 50 people for one week
- £500: A full emergency relief package for 10 displaced families
